Our Clan is AFK (Away From Keyboard) so when we are not online or playing a game we are Folding@Home.
Sounds to me like if your going to be AFK from your PS3 you might as well be Folding@Home. And if your going to be AFK you might as well join the official AFK team: #55059 for the Folding@Home program.

How to Join the Team
It's very simple:
Launch Folding@Home from your PS3
After the simulation has started, press triangle to bring up the program options
Select "Identity" and type your user name (replace PS3)
Select "Join an Existing Team" and type 55059 for our "Team Number"
Next time you send in a completed Work Unit, a credit will be given to you and the team
